Prof. Xinjie Zhang gave opening remarks and moderated the event
Prof. Frank Zhao gave a speech
Prof. Frank Zhao, Editor-in-Chief of Automotive Innovation, Honorable Lifetime President of FISITA, Director of Tsinghua Automotive Strategy Research Institute (TASRI), firstly expressed his gratitude to the editorial board of the journal and invited experts to support the rapid development of the journal. He then delivered a presentation entitled "Automotive Industry Transformation: Reshaping the Automobile and Further Changing the World". Professor Zhao introduced the evolution of the automobile from a machine to an automated product to an intelligent mobile space. He said that the automobile is no longer a product simply dominated by hardware, and that the future of automotive products is driven by both hardware and software, and only the integration of software and hardware can bring a qualitative leap to automotive products. The technological revolution of digitalization and intelligence has reshaped the automotive industry and will further change the world.
Prof. Kunsoo Huh gave a speech
Prof. Kunsoo Huh, Editorial Board Member of Automotive Innovation, Professor at Hanyang University, gave a speech entitled "Current Status and Strategy of Autonomous Driving Technology". He introduced the necessicity of autonomous vehicles, the current status of AD development, the core technology and its future commercialization path.
Dr. Arno Eichberger gave a speech
Dr. Arno Eichberger, Editorial Board Member of Automotive Innovation, Associate Professor at Graz University of Technologypresented a paper entitled "Robust, Accurate and Predictive Driver Drowsiness Detection Fusing Vehicle and Bio-signals for Application in Automated Driving". He introduced a system for detecting driver drowsiness and fatigue in autonomous vehicles, which is based on artificial intelligence and deep learning to accurately identify and classify drowsiness features and achieve reliable identification of driver status.
Prof. Saber Fallah gave a speech
Prof. Saber Fallah, Editorial Board Member of Automotive Innovation, Professor at University of Surrey, gave a talk entitled "Verification and Validation of Unsupervised Driving Functions". His talk discussed how the Internet of Everything and artificial intelligence are contributing to the rapid development of autonomous vehicles, and how the safety of autonomous driving systems can be improved through scenario testing and the establishment of testing standards.
